A foot in both worlds…

Evan Taucher is making a statement in the classical guitar world by establishing himself as a performer and educator both onstage and online. He is recognized worldwide not only by his international competition and concertizing career, but also his educational output including courses with online education giants PickupMusic and JamPlay, where his course was recently named #1 online guitar course.

Although recognized as a concert classical guitarist first and foremost, Evan is at the forefront of utilizing the web to connect with a large audience - namely on social media - where on Instagram alone, he reaches 40k+ people that follow his classical guitar journey.

Evan seeks to connect the classical guitar community both within itself, as well as with the outside world with projects such as Ex-Aequo, which he co-founded in 2020 as well as ReadGuitar - an initiative to connect young composers with musicians across the globe.

Evan’s passion for the guitar, and his calling to share his journey unapologetically has lead him to connecting and working with brands such as Cordoba Guitars, PickupMusic, JamPlay, Blue Microphones, Altamira, and D’Addario, where he is an artist and also spearheading the classical guitar educational outreach program.
